Every two years a symposium is held to discuss relevant scientific questions concerning vitamins. We attach great to importance of multidisciplinary discussions when to defining our future projects. The first GVF sympsium took place 1991 in Bonn, Germany. See the issues of the past symposium in GVF Symposia.
The GVF also regularly offers
workshops for the debate on issues of current interest. At present, we are working on the issue "Upper levels for vitamins".
The
GVF Vitamin Prize is awarded in honour of researchers with outstanding performances on the field of vitamins. In 1995, the first GVF Vitamin Prize was awarded to Prof. Dr. Alfred Sommer.
